The atmosphere it's heartbreaking: you can feel the poetry in the air.
Ancient roads and colorful architectures inspired this textured painting. It's a bass-relief, a sculpture more than a painting to me because the work done into the texture is achieved scraping and layering sand, colors, plaster, stones, glue.
A figure resembling a gondolier with his unique outfit is represented, and a bridge with people walking by can be seen on the right portion of the painting.
The background is full of abstract colors and shapes reminding the Venice beauty of the homes.
